Bats Vilified

Some researchers indicate that bats are the source of the trending COVID-19 virus and are the cause of the global epidemic. Decades ago fruit bats were said to be the villain behind the Nipah virus outbreak in Malaysia. Bats are demonised as reservoirs of harmful viruses. And ‘they agree’ that they have hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.
