EVEN though Valentine’s Day is over, but the feeling of love and happiness will linger on.

People all around the world will be very excited and be as happy as a lark at on Valentine’s
Day.

But have you ever wondered, what actually makes a person happy? The feelings we experience are nothing more than chemical reactions taking place inside our bodies.

Each and every emotion we experience is a result of the release of certain hormones inside our bodies. Serotonin is sometimes called the happiness hormone.

Serotonin regulates the mood, prevents depression and makes you feel happy. Serotonin can be released by getting exposed to sunlight, by eating foods rich in carbohydrates and by exercising.

In addition, surprisingly if you give someone something that he or she likes such as roses or chocolates, serotonin will be released.
