DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is a molecule that carries the genetic instructions used in the growth, development, functioning and reproduction of all known living organisms.

In human genome, the genetic code in each human cell contains 23 DNA molecules each containing from 500,000 to 2.5 million nucleotide pairs.

The DNA in this size is 5cm long in average when uncoiled.

In the human body there are nearly 37 trillion cells and if uncoiled all of the DNA and put them end to end, these would sum to a total length 2×10^14 meters or it is long enough for 17 Pluto roundtrip, (from the sun to Pluto and back 17 times).
